WEEKEND IN THE SLASKIE VOIVODSHIP - SCHOOL AND TRIP WITH A CERTIFIED BMW MOTORRAD INSTRUCTOR
Thinking of trying off-tarmac riding, but in a safe way - without extreme off-road? Do you want to build your confidence on gravel, learn how to ride a motorbike on any surface and feel how a motorbike handles when the perfect asphalt ends? And at the same time experience a weekend that is both training and motorbike touring in great company?
That is why we have created the Adventure Training Weekend in the Silesian Beskids (near Żywiec) - a training based on the BMW Motorrad methodology, conducted by certified instructors, combined with a tourist route through mountains, forests and legal gravel sections.
We start with training on a specially prepared training area and track, where you will practice step by step what really makes the difference in riding: body position, gas and clutch work, braking, body balance, turning and motorbike control on different surfaces. BMW Motorrad's methodology gives you a clear learning plan - no chaos and no 'throwing you in at the deep end'. And the most important thing? These skills stay with you for a long time: with them you will start to travel more confidently and with more pleasure, and less obvious destinations will open up before you - roads and places that ordinary tourists don't get to, because it's that "last kilometre" off the tarmac that leads to them. And that's the real Adventure.
Then comes the best part: a tour of the Silesian Beskid. The surroundings of Lake Żywiec, scenic roads towards Mt Żar, mountain passes, forests and gravel sections that are legal and friendly - ideal for practising every element learnt on the manoeuvring area, already on the real route and under the supervision of an instructor. These are also carefully planned elements of the riding experience. There will be space on the course to get to know the motorbike in controlled conditions - including practising braking with and without ABS, working with suspension settings and making conscious use of riding support systems that give confidence and comfort on different surfaces. This is not a race. It's a weekend where you learn, drive, develop and come back feeling: "I know more than I thought".
You can do the training on your own or on our motorbike prepared for this type of riding - the BMW R 1300 GS and the brand new BMW F 450 GS. This is a huge advantage: you don't have to worry about transport, tyres or preparing your equipment - you simply get on your perfectly prepared motorbike and concentrate on riding.
If you want to combine learning, adventure and touring in a place that offers great conditions for this type of riding - this weekend is exactly for you.
FIRST DAY - TRAINING WITH A CERTIFIED BWM MOTORRAD INSTRUCTOR
On the first day, you get to train under the supervision of BMW Motorrad certified instructors. These are people who teach according to a methodology developed by BMW - with a specific plan, exercises arranged in a logical sequence and an emphasis on safety. This way you know from the start what you are doing, why you are doing it and what the effect is supposed to be.
In practice, this means one thing: you don't learn "by feel" or by trial and error. You get a proven system that allows you to quickly build control, composure and confidence on a variety of surfaces - so that riding off tarmac is a pleasure, not a struggle with your motorbike.
Training takes place on a specially prepared square and track, where you will master or perfect step by step:
-
smooth and confident control of the motorbike on any surface
-
stable position and body work (so that the motorbike runs smoothly)
-
slow-speed throttle and clutch control (key for gravel)
-
braking and stopping in a way that really improves safety
-
the basics of negotiating easy bumps and obstacles without stress
The effect after day 1? You drive more confidently, more lightly and more consciously - and the next day you transfer all this to the route in the Silesian Beskid, already in real driving.
SECOND and THIRD DAYS - WE INVITE YOU ON A TRIP AROUND THE SLEAGINIAN BESKID
After the first day of intensive practice on the yard and training track, you are not left alone with your new skills. We plan the next two days in such a way that you immediately transfer them to real driving on the road - calmly, step by step, under the guidance of a BMW instructor. This way, you return home not only with the knowledge, but with real confidence: "I can apply this in practice".
Each day is about 250 km of great, touristic driving in the Silesian Beskid: scenic gravel sections (no extremes), mountain roads and passes. The route has its own rhythm: coffee breaks, lunch, viewpoints and places that are normally avoided when riding "on the main, beaten track". We ride, for example, in the vicinity of Międzybrodzie, , and one of the highlights is the gravel ascent of Żar Mountain - a section that is fun and shows what Adventure is in practice.
What do you gain as a participant?
-
Improvedskills: everything you have practised on the course (position, balance, braking, throttle and clutch control) will be practised under natural conditions with an instructor by your side.
-
Greater confidence on any surface: after these two days, easy gravel stops being a stress and becomes a normal part of motorbike riding.
-
New travel opportunities: you open up the way to places that are less obvious - where the tarmac ends and the real Adventure begins.
-
Comfort and safety: the pace is matched to the group and the route is meant to be a pleasure, not a struggle.
The two days also include thoughtful elements of the BMW riding experience. The route is laid out so that you have the opportunity to get to know the motorbike and consciously use its systems, rather than just 'riding'. In practice, this means, among other things:
-
practising braking and control of the motorbike with ABS (and understanding how the system works in different conditions),
-
conscious use of riding modes and supporting electronics,
-
working with suspension settings for the road surface and riding style,
-
smooth and light motorbike manoeuvring and on easy gravel sections.
This is a weekend after which you feel you not only ride better, but understand the motorbike better - and can use it for what it was designed to do. And the Silesian Beskid is the perfect place to do it in beautiful circumstances and a great climate.
WHY AN ADVENTURE TRAINING WEEKEND IN THE SLASKIE VOIVODSHIP?
Because this is a region where 'Adventure' happens naturally - without extremes, but with a real variety of terrain. The Silesian Beskid and the Żywiec area offer exactly what cannot be fully practised on flat terrain: climbs and descents, variable surfaces, river fords, forests and open spaces. It's the ideal environment to get an immediate feel for how a motorbike works and how you work with a motorbike after training on the square.
Then there's something else that makes this weekend special: the trails in the Żywiec and Międzybrodzkie Lakes area and the Żar Mountain - an iconic, scenically spectacular place and made to feel the Spirit of GS atmosphere. Here you learn in conditions that are real, but still comfortable: no hard off-road, no pressure, instead great satisfaction.
Most importantly: the Silesian Beskid allows you to do the training off-road, but comfortably. The idea is that you learn to ride confidently and smoothly - so that the gravel stops being a stress and becomes a tool for discovering places off the beaten track.
WHAT ROUTES HAVE WE CHOSEN FOR YOU IN THE SLASKIE VOIVODSHIP?
Our routes are prepared exactly as they should be at ADV.PL: well thought out, tested and arranged to suit the purpose of the training. Every day we do about 250 km of riding, where you get three things at once: skill development, riding experience and tourism at its best.
On the route you will be treated to:
-
a scenictouring route with beautiful curves and a rhythm perfect for practising fluidity,
-
legal gravel sections, chosen to give you fun and confidence rather than a "fight for survival",
-
sections of routes prepared especially for our group, including, among others, a gravel ascent of Żar Mountain and rides in the area of lakes and mountain forests,
-
coffee breaks and lunch - because this is supposed to be an intensive weekend, but in premium style.
And that's the key: the two days have been planned in such a way that you practise every element from the training ground in real conditions - under the supervision of an instructor who prompts and corrects you on an ongoing basis. As a result, you don't just go on a tour, you come back with skills that stay for years.
It's that moment when training turns into a real adventure: more confidence, more fun and new opportunities to travel where others end up because the tarmac ends.

WHAT MOTORBIKE TO TAKE PART IN THE ADVENTURE TRAINING WEEKEND?
We focus on maximum comfort and safety - that's why you can take advantage of the motorbikes that are waiting for you on site. This is the best option if you just want to arrive by car and start riding, with no equipment preparation or tyre selection. Our motorbikes are regularly serviced, prepared for training and ready to work on the square and on the routes of the Silesian Beskid.
You have a choice of two models to suit the character of this weekend:
BMW R 1300 GS - the latest generation, the legendary GS, prepared for training and adventure riding. This is a great opportunity to get to know the premium motorbike under controlled conditions, its behaviour on different surfaces and to learn how to consciously use the riding support systems.
BMW F 450 GS - brand new and the most 'friendly' GS to boot. Lighter, handier and easier to handle, it is therefore perfect for fresh motorcyclists who want to build confidence in riding off tarmac. Importantly, the skills learnt on the training course also stay with you in everyday tarmac riding - cornering, braking and motorbike handling.
And if you already have your own adventure motorbike - of course you can come with your own equipment. After all, many motorcyclists feel most comfortable precisely on the motorbike they know best.
AFTER A DAY OF DRIVING - COMFORT, SPA AND HOTEL INCLUDED IN THE TRAINING
At ADV.PL, we know that true premium training isn't just about the track and the motorbikes. It's also where you relax. That's why, during an Adventure Training Weekend, you'll stay in a comfortable, premium facility where, after an intense day of riding, you can just... breathe. Good food, comfortable rooms and conditions for recovery make all the difference - especially when you get back on your motorbike the next day.
What sets this hotel apart? The fact that it is part of the training programme. It is on the premises that we have prepared a special training area, obstacles and gravel sections that we will use on the first day for learning. This way you have everything 'on site': training, facilities and comfort - no commuting, no wasted time, no unnecessary logistics. You finish the class and after a while you are already in the relaxation zone.
Regeneration in premium style
After your training and the Beskid Śląski trails, there is something waiting for you that at ADV.PL we take just as seriously as the riding:
-
The spa and wellness area - perfect for relaxing your muscles after a day in the field,
-
swimming pool and space to fully recover,
-
restaurant and bar - dining in style and a relaxed evening in great company,
-
secure parking and convenient facilities for motorcyclists.
It is this balance that makes the Adventure Training Weekend unique: on the one hand you develop skills and experience a real adventure, on the other hand you relax as you need to. After all, 'Make Life a Ride' is also about being able to enjoy the whole weekend, not just the ride itself.
You can take your other half
If you want to combine training with a weekend for two - go ahead. While you train on the square and ride the trails, your other half can relax at the hotel and enjoy the hotel 's attractions: the spa area, pool and wellness area, as well as the beauty of the surroundings. It's a great deal: you come back with new skills and confidence in your riding, and your other half with a real reset and an enjoyable weekend in the mountains.
FOR WHOM IS THE ADVENTURE TRAINING WEEKEND IN THE SILESIAN BESKID?
It's for those who want to learn to ride a motorbike on any surface and enter the world of Adventure in a smart, safe way - no extremes, but real progression. If you dream of trails that don't end where the tarmac ends, this weekend is exactly for you.
This training will work perfectly for you:
-
For motorcyclists who want to try riding off tarmac, but without the hard off-road and unnecessary stress
-
For beginners and intermediates who want to build confidence on gravel and in the mountains
-
For those returning to riding or those who feel that 'off-road' lacks composure and control
-
For owners of adventure motorbikes (BMW GS and beyond) who want to finally realise the potential of their equipment

-
For those who want to combine training with atour and experience a weekend in a great atmosphere

The bottom line? You don't have to be an "off-roader". All you need is the desire to develop. We arrange the rest so that you ride safely, comfortably and with satisfaction.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME?
We choose the dates so that the conditions are conducive to learning and enjoyable riding - because ADV.PL is all about progression, but also about making the weekend fun, not a battle with the weather.
FACILITIES AND SUPPORT
You have full organisation and instructor support on site, and during the trip we operate so that you can focus on your riding and development - you have the support of the team and facilities to give you peace of mind throughout the weekend if needed.
BMW MOTORRAD INSTRUCTORS - YOUR BIGGEST "GAME CHANGER" IN TRAINING
A lot of training looks similar in pictures. The difference starts where it counts most: who is standing next to you as you learn new things.
At ADV.PL, training is provided by certified BMW Motorrad instructors - professionals who have undergone BMW's demanding training programmes and hold IIA (International Instructor Academy) certification . BMW Motorrad certification (IIA/ITA) is a rare competence and a demanding path - so you are assured of learning from people who not only drive, but above all know how to teach: calmly, clearly and effectively.
This means BMW Motorrad methodology and a progression that you feel from day one:
-
you learn to control your motorbike on any surface, step by step and at a pace tailored to you,
-
you build confidence in the field, which stays with you on the tarmac too,
-
and in the Riding Experience you get to know the BMW GS "inside out": how to consciously use the settings, modes, suspension and support systems - under real conditions, under the guidance of people with vast experience.
The result? You come back not just with impressions, but with something much more valuable: peace of mind and the confidence that you can apply these skills to real-world travel. Because that's what Adventure. Make Life a Ride.
