DAY 1: Arrival in Greece (Thessaloniki) and start of Winter Camp

This is the day you start your motorbike city break with the sun in the background - no long commutes and no logistical gymnastics. The Thessaloniki is a direct flight from Warsaw in around 2hrs 15mins, so the same evening you are already "there" - ready for adventure.

      On arrival:

      • Transfer to the hotel - our man with the ADV.PL placard is waiting for you at the airport to take you straight to your comfortable hotel.
      • Check in and take a breather - time to quickly freshen up after your trip and catch the Greek climate.

19:00 - organisational meeting with the instructors

      • you get to know the team and the rules of the Winter Camp,
      • we discuss the plan for the next days and the approach to the training,
      • release of the motorbikes - your BMW is waiting, ready to ride.

At the end of the day: dinner and the first beer - after all, this is supposed to be an ADV-style adventure, but the comfort version.

DAY 2: On-track training - the foundation for Greek trails

      Breakfast from 8:00
A relaxed start to the day, good coffee and energy for an intense training session.

      9:30 - pre-departure briefing
Short and to the point: safety rules, group riding, goals for today and timetable.

      Departure to the track
We head to a prepared training area where you work on technique all day in controlled conditions - no pressure, but real progression.

      10:00-14:00 - training block (track/field)
In this block we focus on the basics that make the biggest difference in the field:

      • correct position on the motorbike (standing and sitting) and eye work,
      • precise manoeuvring at low speeds,
      • gas, clutch and balance control - smoothness instead of wrestling with the motorbike,
      • turning and slalom on loose pavement,
      • handling the motorbike "from the ground" and conscious work with the centre of gravity (useful in off-road and emergency situations).

      14:00 - lunch
Time for recuperation and a short break in the Greek climate.

After lunch - second training block (track/field)
Here you go up a level and combine elements into realistic runs:

      • Stop&Go and traction control on loose ground (right foot and rear brake precision),
      • gentle climbs and descents - technique, position, confidence,
      • braking on descents and working with systems (ABS / settings depending on the exercise),
      • ruts, bumps and "reading" the terrain - smoothness and stability,
      • Off-road training ride: putting into practice the techniques learned, with feedback from the instructor.

18:00 - return to the hotel + summary of the day
We gather the most important conclusions and set goals for day 3, the first big off-road tour.

In the evening: dinner, Greek wine and full relaxation - spa or pool, or if you prefer: relaxed conversation about trails and motorbikes in good company.

DAY 3: First Greek tour - the 'fingers' of Chalkidiki in practice. Distance approx. 300 km

      Breakfast from 8:00
Restful morning, coffee and preparation for the first big day on tour.

9:30 - organisational meeting with instructors + departure
A short briefing, a reminder of the key rules and we set off on your first Greek loop.

A route of about 300km - gravel and scenic roads of one of the 'fingers' of Chalkidiki
On a map, Chalkidiki looks like a hand extending into the sea - the three long peninsulas resemble three fingers, which is why locals and travellers refer to them this way. Each 'finger' has its own character: lots of space, beautiful panoramas and roads made for adventure-style driving.

On this day you take a mixed route:

      • approx. 50% gravel sections - legal, pleasant, scenic, ideal for GS riding,
      • approx. 50% local tarmac roads - quiet, winding, with fantastic views of the bays and azure water.

It's not a 'survival chase' - it's an intelligently planned day where you consolidate everything you've learnt on the track: position, eye work, throttle and brake control, smoothness in corners and confidence on loose pavement. The instructors are with you to make progress in real-world conditions, step by step, at a pace that builds confidence - not stress.

      14:00 - lunch at a local restaurant
A Greek-style break: good food, recovery and a brief mid-tour recap of the day.

18:00 - return to hotel + debrief with instructors
We gather conclusions, discuss the highlights and set the accents for the next day's ride.

In the evening you have a choice:

      • a joint trip to a local restaurant for authentic Greek cuisine,
      • or
      • relaxing at the hotel: pool, spa, massage and rest before the next route.

DAY 4: Second Greek tour - a different 'finger', new views and Riding Experience. Distance approx. 280 km

      Breakfast from 8:00
Relaxed start, good coffee and preparation for the next day on the road.

9:30 - organisational meeting with instructors + departure
A short briefing, discussion of the day's plan and we set off on the second loop - this time different, with a different character of roads and landscapes.

A route of about 300 km - gravel and scenic roads of the next 'finger' of Chalkidiki
Today you get to know Chalkidiki from a different side: different bays, different panoramas, different road pace. The route is again intelligently balanced:

      • ca. 50% gravel sections - legal, smooth and "GS",

      • approx. 50% local tarmac roads - winding, scenic, often leading high above the waterline where the azure of the sea does the work.

This is the day when the elements of the BMW Riding Experience - i.e. getting to know the motorbike in practice, on a real tour, under the guidance of instructors - come in more strongly:

      • working with riding mode settings and motorbike behaviour on different surfaces,

      • ABS braking and braking control exercises in safe conditions,

      • selection of suspension settings and electronics for off-road/asphalt,

      • smooth handling and use of ride support systems so that the motorbike "works for you".

All this not as a 'school table', but as real value: you come back with the ability to use the GS's capabilities in a way that few others do - more confident, smoother and more fun.

      14:00 - lunch at a local restaurant
A moment to take a breather, eat well and recuperate before the second part of the tour.

18:00 - return to hotel + debrief with instructors
We gather the most important conclusions, discuss the elements of the Riding Experience and close the day with concrete feedback.

In the evening: time to enjoy Greece at its best - a shared dinner and local flavours or a total reset at the hotel: pool, spa, massage and relaxation.

DAY 5: End of Winter Camp and return to Poland

      Breakfast from 8:00
Last morning in the Greek climate - leisurely, unhurried, with a moment to catch your breath before the journey.

9:30 - return of motorbikes, farewells and transfer to the airport
You return the motorbike, say goodbye to the team of instructors and the group with whom you have shared the route, the excitement and the "Spirit of GS" for several days. We then set off with a transfer to Thessaloniki airport.

A quick and comfortable flight to Poland
Just a moment ago gravel, mountains and azure water - and in a moment you are back home, with a head full of images and with skills that stay for a long time.

Why does it take so long?
Winter Camp is intensive: one day of solid training and two full days of touring is a set-up that gives maximum effect in a short space of time. This is the optimum ratio - long enough to make real progress and enjoy the ride, yet short enough to return with a pleasant "unsatisfied" feeling and a desire for another adventure with ADV.PL.

Because that's what it's all about: catching the sun, making progress, experiencing something special - and coming back hungry for the next trip.
